Entramos en las Navidades con las nominaciones a los Globos de Oro del año 2012, que se produjeron el pasado 15 de Diciembre. Los ganadores se sabrán el 15 de Enero de 2012, en la ceremonia que se celebrará en el Hotel Beverly Hilton. Las listas las dieron a conocer El Hollywood Foreign Press Association , a través de Sofía Vergara, Rashida Jones, Gerard Butler, y Woody Harrelson.
Algunos de los aspectos destacados son la película The Artist, basada en los años veintes y ambientada en blanco y negro, con 6 nominaciones entre las cuales destaca la de mejor película. Por la parte del cine español, cabe destacar la presencia de La Piel que Habito, de Pedro Almodóvar , nominada al Globo de Oro por la mejor película extranjera.
